We are excited to be opening a new butcher shop later this year and are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Deli / Shop Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new business from the ground up.
Working Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday, 09:00am - 06:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operating the deli counter, including slicing and preparing products
- Preparing and cooking a variety of deli items
- Stock replenishment and shelf stacking
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the shop
- Delivering excellent customer service and building customer relationships
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (1–2 years required)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
