Duties
- Install a wide range of white goods such as refrigerators, TVs, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, and air conditioning units according to manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct equipment repairs and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently during installation or post-installation service calls.
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to accurately assemble and connect appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with other technicians during complex installations or repair projects, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using technical knowledge of construction, electrical systems, and air conditioning components.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered for quality assurance and reporting purposes.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance installation or repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring related to household appliances.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in guiding or supervising team members during installation or maintenance tasks.
- Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults effectively.
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding structural requirements during installations.
- Strong maintenance background with the ability to perform routine checks and preventative care on appliances.
