Solar EV North is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician / Team Leader to join our expanding installation team.
This is a senior position for an electrician who has the technical ability, leadership skills and experience to take responsibility for a team and deliver consistently high-quality installations.
We specialise in premium solar PV, battery storage and EV charging systems, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality, professionalism and exceptional workmanship.
The Role
As a Solar PV Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading installation teams and ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently and to Solar EV North's high standards.
You will be expected to take ownership of installations from start to finish, support and manage other electricians and installers, and ensure all work is completed correctly, tested and commissioned.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
You must have:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification
- AM2
- Solar PV Installation Qualification
- Battery Storage Qualification
- EV Charger Installation Qualification
- Proven experience installing Solar PV systems
- Proven experience installing battery storage systems
- Proven experience installing EV charging systems
- QS / Qualified Supervisor experience
- Experience leading or supervising installation teams
- Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, testing and certification
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
