About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced General Manager who can take overall responsibility for our business operations, service delivery and team performance. This is a senior leadership position for someone who can turn strategic objectives into practical action while maintaining strong standards across every department.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, department managers and external partners to ensure that the company operates efficiently, achieves its commercial goals and delivers a consistently high level of service to clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Operations:
Oversee the daily operation of the company and ensure that departments work effectively together. Identify operational risks, resolve performance issues and maintain high service standards.
Strategic Planning:
Translate company objectives into clear operational plans, departmental priorities and measurable performance targets.
Team Leadership:
Lead and support department managers and senior employees. Set expectations, review performance and encourage accountability across the organisation.
Financial Oversight:
Work with finance and commercial teams to monitor budgets, control operating costs and improve profitability.
Client and Customer Service Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, customers and business partners. Ensure that service commitments, quality expectations and contractual obligations are met.
Performance Improvement:
Review internal processes, management information and operational results. Introduce practical improvements that increase productivity, service quality and efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
Provide clear updates to company directors, senior stakeholders and business partners. Present operational results, risks and proposed solutions in a professional manner.
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure that business activities follow relevant company policies, employment requirements, health and safety standards and regulatory obligations.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in business operations, health and nutrition services, client services, professional services or commercial management, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position.
Leadership Background:
Proven experience managing managers, multidisciplinary teams or multiple business functions.
Commercial Awareness:
Strong understanding of budgets, operational costs, revenue performance and business growth.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with employees, clients, customers and senior stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Ability:
You can assess complex operational problems, identify the main cause and implement realistic solutions.
Management Style:
You are organised, accountable and commercially focused. You know how to balance employee needs, customer expectations and company objectives.
Pay: £38,287.00-£72,694.00 per year
