Blanc Space is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand specialising in custom-printed phone cases, shipping to customers across the UK, US, and Europe.
We design, print, pack, and dispatch everything in-house from our Dumfries production facility — and we're looking for someone to take full ownership of that operation.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a natural organiser who likes running a tight ship, leading a team, and constantly finding better ways to do things. If you take pride in things running smoothly and on time, you'll fit right in.
Position: Production & Operations Manager
Location: Locharbriggs, Dumfries (this is an on-site role — you must be local to the Dumfries area)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year
Reports to: Company founders
Working Hours:
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the role
You'll take full ownership of production, warehouse, and fulfilment — leading a small team and making sure custom orders are printed, checked, packed, and out the door to a high standard every day. You'll work closely with the founders to build and improve the systems that keep everything running as we scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a production team of 3, setting the pace and standards day-to-day
- Oversee daily UV printing, packing, and dispatch
- Manage stock, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Run quality control on both incoming goods and outgoing orders
- Keep the warehouse organised, efficient, and well-managed
- Build and improve operational systems, processes, and SOPs
- Report on production output and flag issues early
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a production, warehouse, operations, or team-leader role
- A confident people manager who can motivate a small team and hold standards
- Strong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable using computers and software for stock, orders, and reporting
- A problem-solver who takes initiative and owns outcomes rather than waiting to be told
- Reliable, hands-on, and happy working on the floor as well as managing it
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience with UV printing or in a print/manufacturing environment
- Background in e-commerce, fulfilment, or D2C operations
- Experience setting up or improving processes and systems
