A specialist children's residential care provider is looking for a Registered Manager to lead two small, Ofsted-registered solo children's homes in Middlesbrough.
The organisation takes a relationship-led approach to care, focusing on creating safe, stable and supportive environments where children and young people can make meaningful progress.

About the Homes
As Registered Manager, you will oversee two individual Ofsted-registered solo homes, providing:
- 2:1, relationship-based care
- Individualised support tailored to each child's needs
- Set shift patterns and a full-year staffing rota
- A strong focus on safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Small, specialist services where relationships are at the heart of care
You’ll Never Lead Alone
You'll have access to a strong network of support, including:
- An experienced Operations Manager providing day-to-day support
- Assistant Managers within the services
- Dedicated HR and recruitment teams
- Compliance and quality support
- Learning and development support, including assistance with Level 3 qualifications
- A specialist Quality and Safeguarding Team
- A dedicated Referrals Team focused on appropriate, needs-led matching
- An experienced mentor to support you in your role
You'll also receive a structured 90-day induction and support to enrol onto a Level 5 qualification where required.
There are clear pathways for supervision, career progression and ongoing leadership development, ensuring you have the support needed to succeed.
About You
We are looking for a resilient, compassionate and relationship-focused leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
Your experience may come from:
- Children's residential care
- Social work
- Education
- Youth justice
- Secure care
- Mental health services
- Other relevant children's or care settings
You will need:
- A strong understanding of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) and relevant care regulations
- A Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
- A Level 5 qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- Experience of leading, managing and developing teams
- A resilient and adaptable leadership style
- A strong commitment to relationship-based care
- A full UK driving licence
