Are you an enthusiastic and customer-focused retail professional with experience of working in a busy charity shop environment?
We are looking for a motivated Retail Operative to join our team. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our charity retail outlet, delivering excellent customer service, maximising sales and creating an inviting shopping experience, while supporting the College’s charitable aims.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a fast-paced charity shop, with a sound understanding of Gift Aid and HMRC Gift Aid procedures. You will be confident in processing Gift Aid donations accurately and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations. Experience in sorting and pricing donations, merchandising stock, operating tills, supporting volunteers and maintaining high standards of store presentation is essential.
You will be organised, adaptable and able to thrive in a busy retail environment, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the work of the College.
