Job Location: Redditch
Hours: 07:30am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday - 7.5 hrs each day) + Overtime available
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires effective communication skills in English, a commitment to customer service and can involve some tasks requiring good physical strength.
Responsibilities
- Perform Industrial cleaning duties in assigned areas, including warehouse, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust, mop, sweep floors to maintain a clean environment.
- Operating Scrubber Dryer machinery for floor cleaning
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored properly after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role and supervisory skills would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
