Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and clients. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain cleanliness and presentation
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and organise storage areas efficiently
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linen
Experience
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
