Job Coach (SEND)
Northumberland Skills Service is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Job Coach to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to progress into employment, apprenticeships, further education, and adult life.
Working closely with learners, curriculum staff, employers, families, and external agencies, you will help identify and remove barriers to learning and employment. You will provide tailored coaching and mentoring, support learners in work placements and workplace settings, and work with employers to promote inclusive employment opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing personalised progression plans, monitoring learner progress, and supporting successful transitions into employment or further learning. They will also contribute to learner reviews, maintain accurate records, and ensure that support is delivered effectively and in line with safeguarding and SEND legislation.
