We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and continually growing food manufacturing business based in Jarrow. Due to ongoing expansion and increased production demands, our client is looking to add experienced Machine Operators to their busy and successful production team on a permanent basis.

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 3:00pm

Friday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring production machinery operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key responsibilities will include:

Setting up and operating production machinery

Monitoring machine performance and output quality

Carrying out routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting

Ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards

Recording production data and completing relevant documentation

Working closely with production and quality teams to achieve daily targets

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.
Desirable experience includes:

Previous machine operating experience within food manufacturing or thermoforming

Experience working to strict quality and hygiene standards

Good attention to detail
