Collins Coaches have vacancies for full and part-time Bus and Coach drivers to work from their depot in Milton, Cambridge.
The work will be on local school contracts on weekday mornings and afternoons during school term-time and private hire work during school holidays. Private hire work includes day trips within the UK, rail replacement work, airport transfers. Some weekend work will be required for full-time drivers and is available as optional overtime for part-time drivers.
Candidate requirements:
- PCV licence (category D).
- Driver CPC card.
- Digi Tacho card (can be arranged).
- Enhanced DBS disclosure (can be arranged).
Drivers will be required to work weekdays, and full time drivers some evenings and weekends if private coach hire bookings are available (subject to working time rules) . Applicants should have good communication skills, a knowledge of the Working Time Directive, tachograph rules and regulations and daily vehicle checking procedures.
Full-time drivers will work a minimum of 45 hours per week, with overtime normally available (subject to EU Driving Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive). Part-time drivers will be working a minimum of 20 hours per week, with overtime normally available (subject to EU Driving Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive).
