Concrete Polisher – Midlands
Salary: £15 - £17.50 per hour

About the Role
We’re looking for Concrete Polishers to join a growing team delivering high-quality polished concrete floors throughout the UK. The successful candidate preferably will have experience in surface preparation, power floating, and concrete polishing to a high standard of finish. However, people with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out concrete polishing using ride-on and walk-behind power floats, resin pucks, and densifiers.
- Operate polishing machinery safely and efficiently, following the required grit sequence.
- Prepare surfaces through diamond grinding and manage slurry effectively.
- Apply sealers, densifiers, and stain protectors to achieve the specified finish (silk, semi-gloss, or high gloss).
- Work to site specifications and ensure all tolerances and finish requirements are achieved.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and site cleanliness.
- Follow all company and site Health & Safety requirements.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete polishing, grinding, or surface preparation (preferred).
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work on different sites when required.
Licences & Certifications
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- CSCS Card (required)
Desirable Skills
- Experience using ride-on power floats or planetary grinders.
- Knowledge of densifiers, sealers, and polishing sequences.
- Confident with hand tools and surface preparation machinery.
- Experience with resin or screed flooring systems (advantageous).
