We run our own UK factory and warehouse to manufacture and distribute our products.
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join our team to manufacture and pack food and drink products within the defined quality procedures
Scope of Job
In accordance with the appropriate company policies and procedures, ensure:
· The level of quality is maintained through the production process
· Products are manufactured and packed to the highest standard
· Understanding critical control points identified through HACCP and ensure that they are in operation at all times
· Use of machinery as required but only after the necessary degree of training has been achieved
· Decanting of fruit and batch production preparation
· That accurate completion, in real time, of all relevant paperwork and database records necessary to maintain the Quality Management System
· Food and packaging waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling wherever possible

· Ensure a clear understanding of the risks and hazards of the area
· Always employ safe working practices, ensuring all company safety and quality systems are followed and all relevant legislation complied with, raising concerns and reporting any incidents or suggestions to your line manager
· Assisting in other areas of the business as and when required
Essential requirements:
· The suitable applicant must be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar production role, communicate easily with all other departments of the business and be able to understand the company’s written records and documents.
Desirable:
· Food Safety Qualification
Working hours are 40 hours per week (day shift, Monday-Friday. Early finish Fridays)
