Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Care Manager at The Chimes Rest Home located in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. The Registered Care Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as overseeing resident care plans, coordinating and implementing care services, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, liaising with residents' families and healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They will ensure the delivery of person-centered care, manage a team of care professionals, and coordinate care plans. The Registered Care Manager will also oversee training and development programs for staff and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialist care to our residents and ensuring continuity of care.
Qualifications
- 1 year Experience in Care Management or related field
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Social Care, or equivalent as required for registration OR Level 4 and willing to work up to Level 5
- A background in elderly and dementia care is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively manage and supervise a team
- Overseeing Training and Development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in ensuring compliance within a care setting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams to deliver excellence.
Salary negotiable based on experience.
