We have a fantastic team at our Frimley Green kitchen and café, and we’re looking for an experienced, motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our store.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy bakery and café while supporting the Store Manager in leading the team, maintaining high standards and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Your Role:
- Support the day-to-day running of the bakery and café
- Lead shifts confidently, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Motivate, support and guide the team to maintain high standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer enquiries professionally
- Monitor stock levels and minimise waste
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling and banking
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and food hygiene
- Support with staff training and development
- Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales, operational and service goals
Who We’re Looking For:
- A confident and positive leader with excellent communication skills
- Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality, retail or a similar environment
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively
- Calm under pressure and confident making decisions during busy periods
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
- Reliable, professional and leads by example
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential
