As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking for a Stock Controller to strengthen our team at our Bicester Site.
About The Role
As a Stock Controller you will ensure the stock count is completed in a timely and accurate manner for all fresh stock, and analysis of the stock count compared to the stock system to report / investigate any potential differences. Also supporting the operation with customer shortages.
Location : Bicester, Oxfordshire
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday 09.00 pm to 06.00 am
Key Responsibilities:
Daily stock counts — Complete full fresh‑warehouse counts each day and record key figures in a structured spreadsheet.-
Racking accuracy checks — Verify products in racking against system data to ensure alignment and correct discrepancies.

Product date reporting — Produce accurate product‑date reports for Operations and Procurement using spreadsheet tools.

Stock data interpretation — Analyse stock trends to identify potential shortages and take proactive action to prevent issues.

Operational collaboration — Work closely with Operations to minimise customer shortages and maintain smooth supply flow.

Warehouse stock locating — Assist Operations in locating stock within the warehouse quickly and efficiently.

Issue escalation — Communicate stock or system issues promptly to the Stock/Operations Manager to enable timely corrective action.

Night‑market purchasing — Source and purchase stock from the night market when required to reduce customer shortages.
