Casamere Hotel ,Knutsford (part of AG Hotels Group) is looking for an experienced and confident Duty Manager-F&B who will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the smooth and efficient operations of the F&B department. This role involves managing daily operations, planning staff rotas, handling stock and inventory, and performing Duty Management shifts.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department.
- Ensure all areas of the department are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address any operational issues promptly and report them to the senior management.
- Assist in planning and organizing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and maintained.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to prevent shortages and wastage.
- Ensure that all guests receive a high standard of service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and effective manner.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
- Perform duty management shifts as required, ensuring the smooth running of the entire operation.
- Act as the main point of contact for any issues or emergencies that arise during shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies during duty management shifts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role within the F&B department of a hotel or restaurant.
- Experience in managing operations during peak hours, overseeing staff, and ensuring high standards of service.
Key Skills

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health & safety standards.
- Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)
- First Aid and Health & Safety certifications.
- Personal Licence for the sale of alcohol, will be added advantage.

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
