Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks to ensure quick service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, dining area, and food prep zones in line with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent service.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while handling payments efficiently.
- Support stock management by restocking supplies and reporting low inventory levels promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is just as important!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks smoothly during busy hours.
- Experience in serving or customer service roles helps but isn’t mandatory—friendly attitude is what counts most!
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly in a lively setting.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and beverage crafting.
