Home Instead Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, an Outstanding and family-run care provider, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients within their own homes. As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to maintain their independence and enjoy a fulfilling life.
Provide comprehensive personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful activities and conversation.
Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and maintaining a clean living environment.
Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the care management team.
Essential: A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Essential: Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably with elderly or vulnerable adults.
Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential: Experience in providing live-in care.
Desirable: Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Desirable: Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care).
