Richard Hall Ltd (RHL) are contractors from Beenham, Berkshire - boasting industry leading machinery and highly skilled operators to support site clearance, groundworks, haulage, vegetation management and woodchip supply. RHL continue to invest in haulage year on year and are now looking for a successful applicant to join their dedicated Transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with many years mechanical experience and now wanting to champion their own workshop, get to grips with a growing fleet and demonstrate their vast skillset of maintenance and repairs.
Job Description
RHL are looking for a full time HGV mechanic to carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs. RHL run a fleet of 12 Volvo tractor units with walking floor trailers, Flat trailers, bulk tipper trailers and step frame low loader trailers.
Requirements:
- HGV Mechanic experience
- Knowledge of maintenance & repair procedures
- Driving license
- HGV license beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs
- Carry out in-house Vamag brake testing
- Carry out Jaltest diagnostics to identify vehicle faults
- Maintain workshop, containers & toolboxes in tidy & working order
- Operate vehicle column lifts when necessary
- Maintain works van in tidy & working order
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
