At St Andrews Links, the Home of Golf, we are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Reservations Administrator to join our Reservations team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a world-class experience for golfers and visitors from around the globe.
As a Reservations Administrator, you will support the day-to-day operation and administration of the Reservations function, providing accurate and efficient support across the visitor booking journey, yearly ticket administration, local golf club fixture coordination and commercial tee time activity. Acting as a key point of contact, you will work with a variety of stakeholders including visiting golfers, golf tour operators, Authorised Partners, local golf clubs and ticketholders, ensuring every interaction reflects the exceptional standards and reputation of St Andrews Links.
Working under the guidance of the relevant Team Lead, you will primarily focus on one of three specialist areas: Visitor Reservations, Yearly Tickets & Fixtures, or Commercial Tee Times. Flexibility is essential, as you will also provide support across the wider Reservations function during peak periods to help ensure a seamless customer experience.
The successful candidate will be confident in using booking systems and associated platforms to process reservations, maintain accurate records, support reporting requirements and ensure information is kept up to date in line with established procedures. Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in the role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and is committed to maintaining high standards in everything they do. By supporting consistent processes, contributing to a positive team culture and helping colleagues achieve shared objectives, you will play an important role in delivering the quality of service expected at the Home of Golf.
If you are a proactive administrator with a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you. Join us and become part of a team dedicated to creating exceptional golfing experiences at one of the most iconic venues in the world.
St Andrews, separating the farmland and the dunes of the beach, was ideal for golf and, in 1552, Archbishop Hamilton issued a Charter formally recognising the right of the people of St Andrews to use the Links for golf.
Over centuries a recognised routing with set holes took shape and by 1764 18 holes were established, becoming the standard bearer for the game wherever it is played.
Over the next 250 years St Andrews Links would be transformed, undertaking a dramatic transformation of the golfing landscape with six further golf courses, three clubhouses, a state-of-the-art Golf Academy and five official stores, all making it the most renowned golf complex in the world.
If you love golf then there is no better place to work, however that isn’t essential to be a success here. As a custodian of the Links, we don’t need you to be a golfer, we simply need you to be brilliant at what you do and appreciate the game.
