Green Acorn Holiday Homes is a growing serviced accommodation company managing high-quality holiday homes across Bristol.
We are looking for a reliable, practical individual who takes pride in maintaining properties to an exceptional standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, carrying out light maintenance and ensuring every guest arrives at a five-star property.
Working Pattern
Typical working days are:
Occasional Saturday call-outs may be required.
Additional weekday hours may become available as the business grows.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Inspecting completed housekeeping cleans using our company checklist.
- Ensuring every property is guest-ready to our high standards.
- Reporting and photographing any issues found.
- Carrying out minor maintenance repairs.
- Touching up paintwork and removing wall scuff marks.
- Replacing light bulbs where required.
- Checking TVs, remotes, Wi-Fi equipment and appliances are all working correctly.
- Replacing missing cutlery, crockery and kitchen items.
- Restocking guest essentials where required.
- Carrying out basic garden maintenance, including mowing lawns, removing weeds, trimming hedges where required and keeping front and rear gardens neat and presentable.
- Reporting larger maintenance or gardening issues requiring specialist contractors.
- Arranging or carrying out key cutting when guest keys are lost.
- Assisting with occasional guest maintenance call-outs.
- Helping us maintain consistently excellent guest reviews.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own reliable car or van.
- Comfortable working weekends.
- Practical DIY skills.
- Happy carrying out basic gardening and outdoor maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently.
- Good communication skills using WhatsApp.
- Reliable, organised and trustworthy.
Previous handyman, decorating, maintenance or property experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We Offer
