About the Role
Finesse Fit Out is an independent construction company, delivering high-quality commercial fit outs, operating throughout the UK. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting and decorating, with a strong eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, and priming) before painting or wallpapering
- Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces
- Hanging wallpaper and specialist wall coverings
- Mixing and matching paints and colours according to specifications
- Ensuring all work areas are clean, tidy, and safe
- Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Following all health and safety procedures on site
Experience
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain a high standard of finish
Qualifications
- CSCS card (essential)
- Manual Handling Certificate (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
- Own tools and transport (an advantage)
