Duties
- Safely operate a company-provided van to make multiple deliveries across various locations within your route
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring they are handled with care and accuracy
- Follow delivery schedules and optimize routes for maximum efficiency
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle checks to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each drop
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock movement or heavy lifting when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with strong knowledge of commercial driving practices
- Valid driving license suitable for operating a van or similar vehicle in your region
- Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy items is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy parcels safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage routes and delivery schedules effectively
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations applicable to commercial driving
