We are a busy and growing automated gate and barrier company looking for a Trainee Engineer to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. Full training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with installation of automated gates, barriers and bollards.
- Supporting servicing and repair work
- Learning fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems
- Working with access control systems (intercoms, keypads)
- Travelling to sites with experienced engineers
What we’re looking for:
- Some basic understanding of electrics or practical hands-on experience
- A genuine interest in learning a skilled trade
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Someone reliable, punctual, and willing to work outdoors and on-site
- A practical mindset — comfortable with tools and problem-solving
- Ability to work well in a small team and take instruction
- Any experience with gates, barriers or similar is a bonus
