Job Summary
The Renaissance at Kelham hall are seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction and infrastructure project from inception to completion . This exciting new project will be transforming our Grade 2 listed wing into Bedrooms. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of site operations, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in construction and heritage work. The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering quality results within budget and schedule constraints, fostering effective communication among stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Duties
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to uphold health and safety standards.
- Manage resource allocation, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise productivity.
- Monitor project progress through detailed reporting and maintain accurate documentation of activities.
- Lead a team of site personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies throughout all phases of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction projects from inception to completion
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction management are preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable
