We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support early childhood development in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care
- Assist in the assessment of children's progress and contribute to their individual learning plans
- Lead by example in promoting good behaviour and social skills among children
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth daily operation of the nursery
- Drive nursery vehicles when necessary for outings or transportation needs
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Ability to organise activities that are educational, fun, and age-appropriate
- Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are preferred
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or equipment
- Passionate about working with children and committed to their safety and development

Pay: £23,296.00-£27,456.00 per year
