Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all office surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and workstations
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and carpets regularly
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners in a timely manner
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap in washrooms and kitchen areas
- Maintain cleanliness of communal areas including kitchens, break rooms, and reception areas
- Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored safely after use
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards within the workplace
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and products
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines effectively
