Self-Employed Osteopath (Part-Time)
Location: Tayloredfit Physio, Langley Park, Durham
We're looking for a passionate, patient-centred osteopath to join our friendly multidisciplinary team at Tayloredfit Physio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-employed practitioner who enjoys working collaboratively alongside experienced physiotherapists, massage therapists, podiatrists, Pilates instructors and other healthcare professionals, with a shared focus on helping people move better, feel stronger and live healthier lives.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose musculoskeletal issues and develop customised treatment strategies.
- Perform manual therapy techniques such as mobilisation, manipulation, soft tissue work, and stretching exercises.
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and self-care practices to support ongoing health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Registered with British Osteopathic Council
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in osteopathy and related fields through continuous professional development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice environment.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an Osteopath or in a similar manual therapy role is preferred.
- Qualification from a recognised osteopathic college or university is essential.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to musculoskeletal health.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and ethical conduct at all times.
- Experience in developing personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs is advantageous.
