The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our growing tanker team.
This role involves nationwide tramping work, collecting and delivering food-grade edible oils using tanker trailers.
Key duties include:
- Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) HGV in accordance with all UK road transport legislation.
- Complete nationwide collections and deliveries of food-grade edible oils.
- Load and unload tanker vehicles in line with customer and company procedures.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation accurately.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, particularly with food-grade equipment.
- Represent M.T. Beauvale Ltd professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers.
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
- Previous food-grade tanker or liquid tanker experience is highly desirable.
- A good understanding of tanker loading and unloading procedures.
- A reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
- Ability to work away from home during the week (tramping).
