The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team in Hull. This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, offering a great work-life balance while working within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HGVs and commercial vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint to precise specifications
- Apply paint using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish
- Carry out minor repairs to damaged bodywork prior to painting
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and customer standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a vehicle paint sprayer (HGV/commercial experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with modern paint systems and equipment
Desirable
- Experience working on HGVs, trailers, or fleet vehicles
- NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Body Repair or Paint
- Good understanding of industry health and safety practices

Pay: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
