Overview
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Self-Employed Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work independently across a variety of construction and maintenance projects, delivering high-quality craftsmanship in multiple trades. As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for managing your own workload, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful completion of diverse building and renovation tasks, helping clients achieve their vision with precision and professionalism.
Duties
- Perform a wide range of trades including as required for each project
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to execute work accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs, installations, and construction tasks
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to understand project scope and deliver timely results
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Troubleshoot issues on-site promptly and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track
- Manage your own schedule to ensure timely completion of multiple projects while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience across multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination with proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects independently
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and other tradespeople when necessary
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing project requirements or unforeseen challenges
