Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bar Staff to join our small team! In this role, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while delivering exceptional customer service. The right candidate should be able to work evening shifts, have weekend availability and be flexible. More hours can be offered to cover holidays and during busy periods!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Follow and make sure customers adhere to the pubs rules set by the brewery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle transactions efficiently
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere
- Follow all safety protocols related to serving alcohol ensuring responsible service at all times
- Helping with clean down at the end of shift
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in serving or bartending roles will be an advantage but is not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key

Pay: £12.71 per hour
