Duties
- Deliver direct service user care with compassion, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Assess service user's conditions by monitoring vital signs and interpreting clinical data
- Administer and document prescribed medications accurately while observing proper protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Liaise with patients and their families as well as other colleagues on health management, treatment procedures, and care
- Maintain detailed and accurate care and medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent service user needs with professionalism and confidence
Requirements
- Valid registration as a General Nurse with the appropriate national or regional nursing council or authority
- Proven experience in patient care within hospital or clinical environments
- Experience in respiratory care (invasive and non-invasive) including tracheostomy care and management
- Ability to administer medications safely and monitor for adverse reactions
- Experience in moving and handling
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently
