Tia’s is a brand new Mexican restaurant opening soon in The Gate, Newcastle — and we’re looking for confident, energetic Bar Supervisors to help lead our team from day one.
This is the perfect role for someone who already has bar experience and is ready to step up, lead shifts, support the team and keep the atmosphere buzzing during busy services.
We want people with personality, strong work ethic and the ability to keep calm while the cocktails are flying out and the music’s up.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the bar
- Leading shifts and helping manage the bar team
- Keeping service smooth, fast and organised
- Delivering great customer experiences
- Training and motivating team members
- Helping with stock control and bar prep
- Making sure standards stay high during busy services
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar experience is essential
- Supervisor or team leader experience is a bonus
- Confident, reliable and organised
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Great communication and leadership skills
- Cocktail knowledge is a plus — tequila and mezcal fans definitely welcome
