About this role
Join our highly professional, committed and student focused academic team, based at the Chichester campus. At the University of Chichester, our Theatre provision includes BA (Hons) Acting. This post will teach on BA (Hons) Acting at level 5 on the Classical theatre production module which introduces students to key skills for the acting of classical texts, through the study of Shakespearian verse, culminating in the production of a Shakespeare play.
About you
The successful candidate will have a strong background and experience in classical theatre, especially in contemporary and ensemble driven contexts.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching. Experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students would be an advantage.

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
