Featherstone Academy seeks a Bridge Manager to take a lead role within The Bridge, under the direction of the SENDCo. This is a pastoral role which requires a candidate with a proven track record in providing specialist support to students with ECHPs, SEN, SEMH and other complex needs.
The Bridge works to address the needs of vulnerable students who require specific help in overcoming barriers to learning and will play a vital part in securing the best outcomes for our students. You will liaise with internal staff at all levels, with parents/carers, governors and external agencies, including alternative curriculum providers.
We are looking for a staff member who can successfully co-ordinate and lead the day-to-day management of The Bridge, who is proactive in establishing strategies to support students with complex needs and who is able to use their own initiative. We seek a colleague who can demonstrate experience of working with students with complex needs and has a background of working with students who require pastoral support.
You will have sound experience of planning and mapping support plans for students and of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.
This is a real opportunity for you to make your mark, so if you think you have what it takes to manage our Bridge, apply today.
