Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and capable Joiner to join our dedicated workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing bespoke timber windows and doors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company with a strong order book and opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce bespoke sash windows, casement windows, and doors to precise specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and follow job sheets accurately
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all assembled components meet workshop standards
- Collaborate with other operatives at each stage of production to maintain continuous workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in productivity and quality
Candidate Requirements
- Proven joinery experience (heritage joinery experience an advantage)
- Skilled in the use of standard joinery tools and workshop machinery
- Comfortable working as part of a production-driven team with defined roles and time-based targets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality
- Ability to follow technical drawings
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to contribute to a positive, process-focused workshop culture
