Job description
Little Hedgehogs is currently looking for to recruit two qualified practitioners, to join the existing professional and friendly team, providing high quality care for children aged 2 to 4 years. We are looking for a part-time member to fill this position. We require someone from 8am - 5.30pm, for a minimum of 2 days.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To understand and implement policies and procedures, including putting the wellbeing of the children at the centre of our care.
- Provide care and education in our safe, warm and stimulating environment for all the children in our care.
- Provide familiar routines, stimulating educational play and other child-based activities.
- Gain knowledge & experience to contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of our early years curriculum, along with key children planning to meet individual needs and interests.
- Work in partnership with parents and team members.
Qualifications and Skills
· A full and relevant level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, as per the Government qualification list found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england
- A full enhanced DBS or willing to have one carried out
- An enthusiastic, calm and caring nature and able to work as part of a small close team
- Be very personable and feel confident in working with young children
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
