Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders for food and drinks, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcohol, following all safety and legal guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to uphold health standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently using effective time management.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol serving laws.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
