The Role
We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our Billing and Payments Team in Peterlee.
You will play a crucial role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely billing processes and payment applications to customer accounts.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing and overseeing all aspects of the billing cycle, ensuring correct and timely invoice generation and release, and handling all facets of customer payments. You will also serve as the primary contact for any billing and payment-related issues and queries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be busy, challenged, and trusted to make a real difference. You’ll:

Review and verify the monthly billing run, resolving issues promptly and ensuring data accuracy.

Support daily critical tasks and controls to enhance payment processes, reduce risk, and improve quality.

Ensure data quality and accurate billing by liaising with departments across the business.

Resolve customer queries and proactively contact customers regarding billing issues that may delay invoice provision.

Verify and reconcile billing data to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Serve as a primary point of contact for billing enquiries, resolving discrepancies and disputes professionally and efficiently.

Be adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Be flexible and responsive to changing business demands.
