TEACHING ASSISTANT 2B (1:1 Support)
The staff and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school team We are looking for someone who:
- will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children
- work within the Key Stage 1 environment
- is willing to work 1:1 with a child with Special Needs. This may be subject to change as the needs of the school change.
- is organised - is a team player
- has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour - has high standards of English and Maths
- will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD - is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
- can support the Christian ethos of the school

- This is initially a temporary contract starting from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post.
- GCSE Grade C or above English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Essential Experience
- Working in a primary school classroom environment with children.
- Experience working with children in the KS1
