Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated On-site Spray Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces in a construction or manufacturing environment. Must have CSCS, IPAF and UTR. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently on-site. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in spray painting and a keen eye for quality finishings. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications
- Operate spray painting equipment safely(HVLP and/or Airless) and effectively on-site
- Apply paint evenly across different surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during the painting process
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or repairs needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
- Assist with other related tasks as required within the construction or manufacturing environment
Skills
- Experience in architectural spray painting using pressure washer, airless, hvlp turbine to include masking, preparation and spraying to cladding, UPVC, curtalin walling, roller shutters to a high standard. Clean/maintain equipment after each use.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment operation
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation between sites
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to achieve precise finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods and handle equipment safely
