We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Trainee Service Engineer to join our team. You will recieve training in all company depts, from sales, project management, accounts, electrical and on site service work, in order to develop a very good understanding of the day to day running of the business.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
This exciting position will result in a fully trained gas / LEV engineer being able to work very closely with all depts within Premiere Servicing.
Additional training will help the applicant to:
· Create work schedules for all engineers.
· Support senior management with the enforcement of company policies and standards.
· Collaborate with other departments leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects.
· Planning project management alongside other members of staff including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and helping team members to various deliverables.
· Preparing service and purchasing contracts.
· Organizing and scheduling appointments.
· Plan meetings
· Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
· Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
· Maintain contact lists.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
