- Experienced leadership – Work alongside an experienced Neuro Specialist Service Manager with over 18 years' experience, supported by an approachable Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager.
Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse at Neu Living, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, effective and compassionate nursing care while leading your team to provide outstanding support to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading clinical shifts and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting Rehabilitation Support Workers and Senior Carers, promoting best practice and professional development.
- Undertaking comprehensive nursing assessments and developing, implementing and reviewing person-centred care plans.
- Supporting residents to maximise independence through rehabilitation-focused nursing care.
- Working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, GPs, community teams and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care.
- Safely administering, recording and reviewing medications in accordance with NMC standards, legislation and Neu Living policies.
- Completing medicines reconciliation, ordering medication, managing controlled drugs, investigating medication errors where required and promoting safe medicines optimisation.
- Recognising deterioration, responding appropriately to emergencies and escalating concerns using sound clinical judgement.
- Maintaining accurate, timely and legally compliant electronic care records and clinical documentation.
- Completing clinical risk assessments, wound care, PEG care, catheter care and other nursing interventions appropriate to residents' individual needs.
- Promoting infection prevention and control, safeguarding, dignity and positive risk management.
- Supporting admissions, discharges and transitions of care.
- Communicating effectively with residents, relatives, advocates and professionals to ensure everyone remains informed and involved.
- Contributing to audits, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance and continuous service development.
- Acting as a role model, championing excellent practice and helping to create a positive, therapeutic environment where residents can achieve their goals.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for compassionate, motivated and ambitious nurses who want to deliver outstanding care.
You'll need:
- Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN).
- The right to work in the UK.
- Clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Experience in medication administration and safe medicines management.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- A commitment to person-centred, evidence-based practice.
- An understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention, clinical governance and CQC standards.
- Experience within neurological rehabilitation, mental health, complex care or care home settings is desirable, although we welcome applicants with a genuine passion to develop within these specialties.
