Our Residential Care Home in Rushden is seeking both nights and day Care Assistant to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Attend to residents’ individual and personal care needs in line with their care plans, ensuring safety, dignity and the promotion of independence.
- Contribute to care plans, accurately record all activities, and report any concerns to the Senior or Manager to ensure residents receive the support appropriate to their needs.
- Use our online care notes system (PCS) to accurately record all care activities, update relevant information, and report any concerns to the Senior or Manager.
- Safeguard residents by reporting any issues of concern in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Provide practical support to residents, families and colleagues, responding to issues raised by team members and external agencies to maintain a high‑quality residential care service.
- Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and others, following all policies relating to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention & Control.
- Carry out any other duties that fall within the broad spirit and purpose of the role.
