Book & Media Volunteer
Do you love books, music or films? We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Book & Media Volunteer to join our team at the Cats Protection Caernarfon Shop.
You’ll help us sort, organise and display donated books and media, making sure our customers have a great selection to browse while helping us raise vital funds for cats in need.
What you’ll be helping with:
- Sorting through donated books, CDs, DVDs and other media
- Checking donated items are in good condition and suitable for sale
- Pricing and preparing items for the shop floor
- Keeping our book and media sections tidy, organised and well stocked
- Creating attractive displays to encourage sales
- Helping customers find what they’re looking for
- Identifying interesting, unusual or potentially valuable donations
No previous experience is needed – full training will be provided.
Who we’re looking for:
We’d love to hear from someone who is friendly, reliable and enjoys being part of a team. An interest in books, music, films or collectables would be helpful, but it’s certainly not essential.
This is a voluntary role, and every hour you give helps our charity shop raise funds to support cats and kittens in need.
