We’re recruiting 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work within primary schools across Ellesmere Port, with a number of long-term opportunities available from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced TAs, SEND professionals or candidates with transferable experience who are looking for a rewarding role where they can make a genuine difference to a child’s school experience.
The Role
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to pupils within a primary school setting
- Supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing
- Working closely with class teachers and the wider SEND team
- Delivering targeted support and helping pupils engage with classroom learning
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive relationships
- Adapting your approach to meet each child’s individual needs
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children is highly desirable
- Experience supporting SEND or additional learning needs is beneficial
- A patient, caring and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils consistently
- A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
