About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team every Thursday and Friday. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys driving, is dependable, and takes pride in representing our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Deliver customer orders accurately and on time.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Obtain proof of delivery where required.
- Ensure products are transported and handled with care.
- Maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle.
- Provide a friendly, courteous and professional service to customers.
- Assist with warehouse duties and order preparation when required.
- Comply with all road traffic laws, food hygiene standards and company health & safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good driving record.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry products safely.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Desirable
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
- Experience delivering food products.
- Familiarity with local delivery routes.
